The function

The single hand moves slowly and steadily around the dial. It makes one full rotation per day. The movement of the hand is reminiscent of the course of the sun during the day. As the whole day is visible as a closed circle on the dial, this time display allows a very harmonious and intuitive representation of time. All the numerals have the same orientation, they are independent of the viewing angle and have a common center from which they emanate.

The minute ring is divided into 60 minutes and rotates anti-clockwise. On the hour, the number 0 of the minute ring is inline with the hour indicated by the hand. The addition of a minute ring to the classic one-hand watch considerably increases the precision of the time display.
